Drokpo Privacy Policy

Drokpo ("we", "us") is an app for making friends within the Tibetan community. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Account information: when you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive your name and email address from that provider.
- Profile information you provide: display name, date of birth, gender (optional), region, languages, interests, bio, occupation, education, and photos.
- Location: with your permission, your approximate location, used to show you people nearby. If you decline, we use the center of your selected region.
- Activity: your likes, passes, connections, and any reports or blocks you make.
How we use it
- To create and show your profile to other members nearby who share your interests.
- To connect you with people when you both want to be friends.
- To keep the community safe by acting on reports and blocks.
- To send you notifications (such as new connections and messages), if you allow them.
What we don't do
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not show your exact location or date of birth to other members — only your age and region.
- We do not post to your Apple or Google account.
Storage and third parties
Your data is stored with Google Firebase (authentication, database, photo storage) and Google Cloud, which process it on our behalf. Photos you upload are visible to other members of the app.
Your choices
- You can edit or delete profile photos and details in the app at any time.
- You can block or report any member from their profile card.
- To delete your account and all associated data, contact us at the email below and we will remove it within 30 days.
Age requirement
Drokpo is only for people aged 18 and over.
